While I've always loved the visual arts and had minored in art history, it wasn't until 2016 when I'd left classroom music teaching that I held my first paintbrush and created a landscape scene. Thus opened a happy new chapter in my creative life!

I have painted regularly ever since, exploring landscapes, plein air, and figurative works, moving from acrylics to oils, all the while learning from kind teachers including Caren-Marie Michel, Heather Lewis, Jayne Adams, Tracy Everly, Tim Wilson, as well as from gifted friends and fellow students.

A juried member of the Art Guild of the Kennebunks, and active in Maine Women in the Arts,  I am currently represented by ArtNova Gallery, Chatham, Massachusetts.
